1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Carivo ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please stop using the Service immediately.
2. Description of Service
Carivo is an AI-powered CV builder for professionals applying for jobs anywhere in the world. The Service allows users to create, preview, and download CVs and resumes formatted for employers and applicant tracking systems. The Service includes: • A CV builder with optional application fields (work authorisation, driving license, nationality, availability) • AI-powered professional summary generation • Professionally formatted CV and resume templates • PDF download functionality • Optional paid features accessible via one-time payment
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use Carivo. By using the Service you confirm that you meet this requirement.
4. Flexible Payment & Entitlements
We offer paid entitlements via secure Stripe checkout: • Single Pass ($2.99, One-Time): Unlimited CV downloads for 7 days from the time of purchase, using our standard templates, and raises your AI summary generation allowance to 10 lifetime. • Pro Lifetime ($29.99, One-Time): Lifetime access to all templates — including bilingual Arabic templates — unlimited downloads, and 100 AI summary generations per month. • AI Unlimited ($9.99/mo, Subscription): Unlimited AI summary generation. This is an add-on subscription only — on its own it does not include CV downloads or access to premium templates. Those require a Single Pass or Pro Lifetime purchase. All one-time purchases and subscriptions are processed securely via Stripe. Recurring subscriptions can be canceled at any time from the billing portal, and access continues through the end of the period you already paid for. If a renewal payment fails, Stripe automatically retries the card during a short grace period before access is suspended.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to: • Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information in your CV • Use the Service to create CVs for others in exchange for payment without our written permission • Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or copy the Service's templates or AI system • Use the Service in any way that violates applicable laws in your jurisdiction or in the country you are applying to You are solely responsible for the accuracy and truthfulness of the information in your CV.
6. Intellectual Property
Carivo and its CV templates, design system, and AI prompt engineering are proprietary. You may use the output (your generated CV) freely for personal employment purposes. You may not redistribute, resell, or sublicense our templates.
7. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer
The AI Summary Generator produces suggested text based on the information you provide. This text is a starting point — you are responsible for reviewing, editing, and ensuring the accuracy of all content in your final CV. Carivo is not liable for the content of AI-generated summaries.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Carivo shall not be liable for: • Failure to secure employment • Inaccuracies in AI-generated CV content • Loss of CV data due to browser clearing • Downtime or service interruptions Our maximum aggregate liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the preceding 12 months.
9. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Carivo is established, and any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that jurisdiction. Nothing in this clause removes any mandatory consumer protection rights you have under the law of your country of residence.
