Before you upload a photo

What kind of photo works best?
Your face, facing the camera, in even light, with nothing covering it. Sunglasses, a hand, a heavy shadow or three other people in the frame all make it harder. It does not need to be a good photo — it needs to be a clear one.
Will it still look like me?
That is the whole point, so yes — it changes the clothes, the background and the lighting, not your face. If the result does not look like you, generate another and tell us.
Do the credits expire?
No. Ten credits stay on your account until you use them, and nothing charges you again.
Can I use the picture anywhere else?
It is your photograph and your face. Use it on LinkedIn, on an application form, wherever you like.
Should I use a full-body portrait on my CV?
For the CV itself, head and shoulders is the one to use — the photo box on a CV is small, and a recruiter wants to see your face. Half- and full-body portraits are for LinkedIn, a company website or a speaker profile. If you do add one to a CV, Carivo crops it to your face for you.
